this artwork is a artwork i did for my grandfather.
before i move to klang, i stay with my grandfater at port dickson. he grow me up, i appreciate. i love him so much and i miss him so so much.
he brought unlimited happiness to my life.
last year(2016), he told me that he can't wait till the day i graduate, he said his time is almost end.
i told him, "you must wait untill the day i graduate, i want to show you how great is your grandson. i will make you feel proud and take good care of mummy and you".
he laugh and told me that he feel very happy and proud to have me.
i make a promise to him, that i will do my best in my study and will built a better home in the future.
at last, he left...
the moment he left, almost kill me.
i did 'cpr' to him before the ambulance arrive.
but it does not work...
i touch his forehead, was so cold.
it mean, brain dead...
i know he already left, but it just hard to accept.
my mum was crying and can't control her own emotion.
i tell my self, i must take good care of my mum, she is the only one i left.
I am the only child in my house, i stay with my mum.
when i feel very lonely or unhappy, i can only play piano.
i like playing piano because the time pass very fast and i really enjoy playing piano so i won't think about anything but just the sound and music.
especially, compose my own music.
i really enjoy it. my friend always ask me, why that i always play 'sad' music and only listen to 'sad' music.
i don't know why, maybe my past? my background? i feel relax while listening to 'sad' music.
i name this artwork as sad piano is because i only play piano when i am very lonely and unhappy.
i take off the wire bronze from the wire .
the wire bronze represent the piano string.
i insert the wire bronze one by one by using my hand.
i need to be in a very quiet room and give my full concentration on it.
it was really time consumed and took about one hour just to get into this.
the wire bronze pull really hard, to strengthen the base and the wire bronze, i use needle and plaryer to sew them together.

assignment 2 - my sad book
the fan will start turning when the usb is connected with power bank.
my grandfather is a very hardworking guy, he give his best to his family.
he was a electronic mechanic.
the wire and plug on this artwork represent my grandfather, and the fan represent the only sound in the hospital.
i went hospital everyday to visit my grandfather. the only sound i heard was fan sound...
there is a phone size hole on top of the artwork.
the fan will turn once you insert your phone into it.
but only for iphone user
